NateMotichFX is an independent special effects and custom eye-making studio specializing in hyper-realistic human eyes, creature eyes, custom eye designs, special makeup effects, 3D sculpting/ CAD, and 3D printing. Founded by Nate Motich, the studio combines practical craftsmanship with digital design and rapid prototyping to help artists, mask makers, sculptors, taxidermists, filmmakers, and collectors bring characters and creatures to life. We believe that digital and practical methods can be combined to create the best quality eyes in the shortest amount of time. Our customer-centric collaborative approach ensures that every design we craft is perfectly aligned with your artistic objectives and needs. We maintain the highest level of professionalism and ethical standards in all our business dealings. All projects are kept confidential until formal release is given regardless if there is a NDA in place. In 2023, we’ve redesigned our packaging for sustainability and lower environmental impact.

We are committed to ongoing learning and improvement, and are always seeking ways to make our eyes higher quality at the lowest possible pricing

Our innovative eye designs are often “borrowed” but our unique background in science  art and technology enables us to create the most innovative eye designs out there.  

We’ve had a policy since the beginning of NateMotichFX. No payment is required on custom eyes until you are happy with pictures of the final product. No one else offers this flexibility to their clients! 

NateMotichFX has been making eyes since 2010. I was an early pioneer of 3d design and rapid prototyping within eye making but more importantly I built this foundation on top of knowing how to hand-paint and machine of eye components. This provides me multiple solutions to create custom eyes.
